CNY - Day 2 onwards...

Day 2

On the 2nd day of CNY, I'm preparing myself to go visit my boyboy's grandma's house.. As I know they're gonna be late and the weather gonna be freaking hot, I decided to wear something red with jeans... somewhat casual lah...

Really casual... :P

After his grandma house, his 4th aunt invited us all to her new house in DESAPARKCITY!!!!! Yes.. his 4th aunt married a rich husband which, luckily, the husband really sayang and love her a lot. You can really see from his actions and eyes baybeh!!!

Anyhow, they just moved in and also... the hubby also just got the title "Dato"... so automatically, the aunt got the "Datin" title lah... though they got such title, lucky that they're not too lansi type.. (Not as lansi as CALVIN LU lah!! MUAHAHAHAHAA)

Back to work... TT_TT

What's worst, I got sick!!!!!!! TTT_TTT I'm starting to have a flu, cough and the worst is... SORE THROAT!!!!!! I hate sore throat!!! Everytime I got a sore throat, I'll definitely got a fever........

Which by the end of the day, I really got a fever and a terrible headache... TTT_TTT

Although sick, I still accompany mom to my granny's house for a visit and.............. gambling.. :P

This is the day where my mom's side of the family decided to go each and everyone's of their brothers and sisters house to "bai nin"...

As we need to head to our "ber yee" house, I have to ride at Pearly's car as they didn't know the way to my beryee's house. Since my godbro need to follow our car, he said that he need to pump petrol 1st...

I then realized that, for a lengchai to pump petrol.. there must be ONLY ONE WAY to pump... which is.......................

Must pose nicely as if there's a bunch of papparazi watching u!!! :P

Most of us went over to grandma's house to gamble our money away... I forgot if I won or lost... hahahahaha...

Day 8

It's "bai tian gong" day, so we're required to gather at my grandma's house at night for the prayers...

As the prayers can only start at 12am, in between the time, again we gamble our money away.. as this is the only time we could gamble... And I think I won oni RM5 bucks... T_T

As "bai tian gong" considered a very important day for Hokkien's people, some of them even let off some fireworks!!!

CNY - Day 1

For the 1st day of CNY, we are required to wear our new clothes. So below is the brief pics of how I wear on the 1st day of CNY!!

Some sort like a tank top dress... Preparing to go out to visit my boyboy's uncle..

After we visited his uncle, we rush off to Sunway Pyramid to meet up with my sis and her bf + bf's sis + bf's bro + bf's bro's gf...

We were gonna watch "Ka Yau Hei Si" (I dunno how to write it in Chinese). The movie was fun and it's really a nice watch!! It's a comedy btw... :D

On the way we were leaving, my boyboy stopped in front of the Pyramid Lion's head for me to take pics of the lightings!!

CNY - Reunion Dinner

Again this is the Year of Ox/Cow and we all went to our granny's house for the reunion dinner...

I found out that this year, it seems that there's a lot more babies around the house compared to last year...

We have...........

Ah Jing (My 1st Uncle's 3rd's son's baby girl)

Hyun Yu (My 1st Uncle's Eldest's Son's son)

Chloe (My 3rd Uncle's Eldest's Son's youngest daughter)

Cherlyn (My 3rd Uncle's Eldest's Son's middle daughter)

Last but not least David Tan (My 6th Uncle's youngest son)

I wonder if next year gonna have more babies?? Hmmmm...

So while the woman's in the family is busy preparing the reunion dinner dishes, the males in the families were busy........

The soon-to-be married ladies and married lady....

At 7:30pm, we started our reunion dinner with everyone busy eating (including myself) till I forgot to take pic of the dishes... Sorry ah, I was too hungry and totally forgotten on taking the pictures... hehehehehe...

After dinner and after all the dishes has been cleared, tables been cleaned and chairs been nicely stacked up, the Lucky Draw begins.............

Everyone listening intently on the rules and moniessssss inside the angpaos...

See how nicely the lucky draw angpaos been stacked... My 3rd Uncle being the host...

The 1st number being called will get RM50 and it goes to my 3rd Uncle's 3rd son's wife...

After that, the following numbers being called will get only RM10 angpaos and it consists of 28 packets of it!!!!! All of us was screaming "DON'T CALL MY NUMBER NOW!!!!!" when the older generation male or the family picking out the numbers from the box...

My sis being the 1st to get the lowest price... kesian....

Even my cousin got really sad... hahahahaha...

My playboy godbro looks happy even though he got oni RM10.. hehehe...

Then finally comes the 3rd price where the angpao contains RM180 (if not mistaken)...

My 1st Uncle's youngest son got it... Everytime also he'll get lucky draw within number 1 to 3 loh!!

Then my lenglui godsis got lucky with 2nd price which contains RM280..

And the winner goes to David Tan where the angpao contains RM480!!!!!!

Look at his happy face... I'm gonna rob him!!!!!!!

Even me got RM10 oni... look at how sad I am...

After the lucky draw, as usual, my grandma and grandpa will start giving out angpaos for their grandchildren and great grandchildren...

All of us will have to lined up as there's just too many of us!!!

This is the eldest non-married cousin and he still dare to take angpao!!!

The reunion dinner was fun and all of us enjoyed ourselves...


The bad thing is that... during gambling, I lose quite a lot of money... SIGHHHHHHHHH~~~
