Obtech's 2007 Christmas Party

Yesterday night was my company's Christmas Party organized by our ORC committee. It was fun and superb as almost the whole of Obtech staff in Malaysia went for this party. Those who were not able to attend are mostly outstation to customer's site or they're having something urgent to do.

The party of course started off with some speech given by the President of ORC club and then followed by some games. Have a look at the pic and see how happy I we are!!! :D

Then CheeHooi trying to bully JingDian (the biggest size in Obtech).. (even though CheeHooi smaller in size)
Then we've got SaeMin the "always ready to smile at camera" whenever he saw us taking pics

Then we've got a pervert Patrick trying to "chao sui" of this leng lui japs lady from NEC
And before we end the night, our Senior GM David Teoh telling us how Obtech started... you'll be surprised at how they started it with only 2 people to "chong tin ha"...

Our night ended with Obtech's Family PICTURE!!!!!!!!

The Obtech's Family Picture is not even the whole of Obtech yet. There's still staff from Singapore, Thailand, Phillipines, Europe and etc. So I don't think it can fit loh... but we're a big family!!!!!!!

Overall, we ended our night blissfully and it was really very fun. With this party, we didn't even care of our positions of whether we're a mere staff or if we're the manager but we managed to chat and play along happily.

I'm inspired by what Michael (my CEO) said that night before we parted ways back home...

"We're a family. All of us work in Obtech and don't try to play 'politics' or
whatever. The success of one company is among the culture of the staff. We're a
family and we shouldn't compete with each other. Instead, help each other out. I
would say that if we compete among each other, it would be stupid because we're
in the same company. Don't you think so??"

Wow!! With those sentence, I'm really inspired and I realized that what he said is true!! We're working in the same company so why compete among each other?? Our goal is just to do our job and make this company successful!!

This Christmas party is really a bliss!!! Total attendance... more than 70 staff!!!!!!! Thanks 4th ORC Committee!!!!!!!!

Bak Kut Teh!!!!!!

Yesterday we went for a "ex-TESS" gathering where I'm the "rose" among the thorns... kakakakakaka... all guys oni me the girl loh...

Supposingly there's around 13 or 14 people to go... and the names are: -

In the end, only 9 ppl who arrived and those that are absents with reasons are: -
1. Jaceleen => She was the 1st organizer for this in the end she didn't go bcuz "due to some unforseen circumstances"
2. Joan => Her dad was in the hospital and now everything is OK. Thank GOD!!
3. Kalei => Suddenly he got pregnant nausea, which means he feels like vomitting but now is better...
4. MengFatt => Last minute his company got issues so he have to stay back and resolve the issue... aihhhh...

What we ordered... or what's LEFT of wat we ordered...

At first when the food arrived for our table (we have to use 2 tables as there's 9 of us and can't fit it into 1 table), the 4 and a half of us.... why half huh?? Well XiangLooi sit in between our table (me, CheeFoong, CCLam & Calvin Lu) and their table (Eric Leong & Teh, Chewdan, Teddy), so that's why XiangLooi consider as HALF!! hahahahaha...

When the food just arrived, we thought we won't be able to finish it as there's 1 big plate of vege, 1 big bowl of mushrooms, 1 bowl of "pai kuat", 1 bowl of "sao yuk", 1 bowl of "kam jam ku", 1 bowl of taufu and 2 bowls of soup. So you see... there's a lot of food leh!!! Our table took approximately 45minutes to finish it while their table took approximately 20minutes to finish... hahahahahahaha...

It's a no wonder lar cuz.............. errrrr.... I better don't say it, ah bor later I kena "bombed" by them... hahahahahahahahaa...

Overall, the dinner was fun as we chit chat about what happens in TESS while we were still working there and there's also talks about the most scariest person in TESS (pssttttt... I think for Kalei she is lar... shhhhh...) like TSY!!!!!!!!! KAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKKAKAA.... And then there's talks about those veli "cake sao" people in TESS...

But overall, the dinner is fun cuz I realized that our table is the most noisiest table in that restaurant and even this morning CCLam thanked me for organizing it... hehehehehe.. I'm happy too and I'll plan for the 2nd gathering where I hope I could bring in more girls from TESS (or EX-TESS!!!) and hope I could make it successful!!!

Even George also ask me to organize again and no worries.. I try not to disappoint you guys but MAKE SURE YOU ALL COME!!!!!! hehehehehehehhe....

SUCCESS!!!!!

YEHHHHHHH!!!!! remember i post about i'm gonna give a surprise for my boyboy and was worried the shit out of me as to whether i'll be cheated by the company or either my boyboy will not be happy with it?? WELLLLL!!!!! 1st i'm not being cheated and 2nd... my boyboy is super surprised and he's super happy!!! kakakakakakaka....

Early in the morning i've been worried sick as to whether my order will be delivered to my boyboy or not or whether i'll be cheated or not. I tell u, the whole morning i keep on praying non-stop that i'm not being cheated!! then during lunch hour, i went out for lunch at 12.30pm and went to meet up with chewdan to pass him something for a while...

so when i finally sit down to start eating my food, i got a call from my boyboy!!! i look at my watch, it's 1.56pm already!!! Earlier i email the company and ask them to send the gift after 2pm if possible... so when i got my boyboy's call, i know it's been delivered!!!

Boyboy: "Dear... hehehehe... thanks a lot for the gift..." *a lot of girls talking at the back*
Me: "heheehehe... so u got my gift huh?? happy or not?? surprised or not??" *smiling non-stop*
Boyboy: "Of course happy lar!! and yes, EXTREMELY SURPRISED!! hahahahhaa.. I'm in the center of attention now... every1 in my office is talking about it!!"
Me: "hehehehe... good loh... i finally have a very memorable surprise for you already... so what did u receive huh??" (to double check whether they got mess up my order or not!!)
Boyboy: "I got 24 roses loh.."
Me: o.O "HUH????? ROSES?!?!?!?!?!"
Boyboy: "hahahha.. no lar... ferrero rocher chocolates loh... and a love pillow... hehehehehe.."
Me: *phewwwwwww* "hahahahaa... good loh... happy bor??"
Boyboy: "of course happy ler!! thanks a lot ah dear... i'm really surprised wor... i sure know u up to something 1 when u call me and ask what's my office address.."
Me: "hehehehee... well, u didnt give it to me, i ask from your colleague loh.. kakakakaa... smart leh me.."
Boyboy: "yeah lar... sure later they call and kacau me 1... thanks again ah dear..."

So that's how it make my day today... after such an uneventful day in the morning, at least i got a very eventful day at noon rite?? then my colleague who have lunch together with me kept saying i'm smiling non-stop... hahahahaa... well who dont man?? when u hear ur loved ones so happy and all smiley face when receive ur gift, u also will smile non-stop ler... hahahahaah...

then the rest kept asking me what my boyboy gimme... to tell u the truth, nothing loh... well nothing as in a gift like presents and stuff... but instead, he did gimme something when he call up earlier this morning, and another 1 when he got my gift....

that's called love, passion, happiness and satisfaction... this kinda emotions, it's worth a thousand gifts already... it cant be compared with anything in this world already... so now i would think... my boyboy is the best boyfriend in the world!!! hehehehe... sorry ah chewdan... :-p
