Bangkok Day 4 is the day where we really go travel around Bangkok's small small historical places. We just bought the package few days back to join their travel agent to go Ayuthaya, the historical places in Bangkok.
First stop, Summer Palace, the place where the Thailand's King's "relaxing" palace. Heard from the guide that the King rarely come here, only come when there's some "family" meeting or entertain some royal guests.

Once we entered, this is the beautiful view that can be seen...
As this palace is huge, the "golf cart ride" is available for renting if you would like to take a very thorough view of the whole of Summer Palace. Due to it's price-y and we don't have enuff time, we didnt rent it but PRETEND I got the chance to ride it... kakakakakaka...
Next stop would be Ayuthaya, the place where the war between Burma and Siam first started.
Now it becomes the remaining ruins from the war between Burma and Siam. From what the tour guide told us, each and every palace that the Thai's King had, they sure would build a temple for the Gods. This shows that the Thai's royals are very religious and they respects the Gods greatly.
Next stop is the Wat Mahatat... where there's something extraordinary things can be seen!!!
This Buddha statue was being re-built after the Burma attacked Siam. This Buddha statue is actually being re-built by the Burmese itself for feeling guilty of attacking a very sacred temple and for destroying this Buddha statue.
As an apology, they agreed to re-build this Buddha statue using the original ruined form to continue to re-make a Buddha statue to let it looks like new! When I see it, I really can't see the ruined part. I'm impressed!!
There's a story behind this Buddha head. It is said that during the war, as the temple was being destroyed, a lot of Buddha's statue was being destroyed too. So it happens that this Buddha head might comes from one of the Buddha head from the ruins.
So when it was being left at the ground for too long after the war, a tree somehow grew around the Buddha head as if to protect this Buddha head from being further destroyed. So the Thai's found it extraordinare that they believe the power of Buddha and pray this Buddha head.
If we were to take pic with this Buddha head, we're not allowed to stand higher than the Buddha head as the Thai's said that it'll be disrespectful. The Gods are always higher than us so we're not allowed to stand higher than them. I agree!!! :D
Oh... when going to all this places, especially into a temple, we're not allowed to wear sleeveless shirt or something too "revealing". It is said to be very disrespectful if we didnt cover our "meat". So that's the reason why I have to wear back the clothes I wore previous days.
The last stop would be sitting on a boat along the Chao Phraya River back to the harbour.
pppsssstttt.... quite a leng chai guai lou too!!! HEHEHEHEHEHEHE... Oh and errr... can you see there's a leg behind the guailou?? It's another guailou LYING and SLEEPING on a table after the drank the Heineken. kekekekekeke... He must've been drunk!! kakakakakaka!!!
So that's it for my Day 4 trip. By the time we reach hotel, it's already almost 6pm. So we went to the Pratunam Mall for another round of foot massage!!! And it only costs us about 135baht!! Which is only about RM13.50!!!!!!! For an hour leh!!! CHEAP RITE??!?!?!?!
